summer job program providing employment to thousands of youth and young adults.

From June 3-9, 2019, Baltimore City golf courses will be holding events to celebrate golf and raise funds for YouthWorks. Below are the events and links to Sponsorship Opportunities and information about YouthWorks.

2nd Annual Baltimore Golf Week featuring the Mayor’s Cup Events

The Million-Dollar Hole-in-One contest at the Pine Ridge Driving Range.

From June 3-7, 2019, a circle that is approximately 15 feet in diameter and 100 yards away from the driving stations will be set up. For a fee of $5 for one shot or $20 for five shots (paid in the driving range building before attempting to qualify), amateur golfers can attempt to hit a golf ball that stays on this temporary green. All amateur golfers that are able to do this qualify for the finals of the million-dollar hole-in-one contest. On June 8, 2019, a temporary green and hole that is at least 165 yards away from the driving stations will be set up. All amateur golfers that qualified for the finals will be able to take one shot at a hole-in-one and the million dollars*. This is open to only amateur golfers.

There is no pre-registration for the event. The dates and times to attempt to qualify for the finals will be posted in May 2019.

* -- The million dollar prize will be paid through a 40 year annuity

$50,000 Hole-in-One contest at the Forest Park Golf Course

From June 3-7, 2019, a circle that is approximately 15 feet in diameter and 75 yards away from the driving stations will be set up at the Forest Park Driving Range. For a fee of $5 for one shot or $20 for five shots (paid in the clubhouse before going to the range), amateur golfers can attempt to hit a golf ball that stays on this temporary green. All amateur golfers that are able to do this qualify for the finals of the $50,000 hole-in-one contest. On June 8, 2019, a hole that is at least 135 yards away from the driving stations will be set up on one of the Forest Park Driving Range greens. All amateur golfers that qualified for the finals will be able to take one shot at a hole-in-one and the $50,000. This is open to only amateur golfers.

Baltimore Golf Week skills contests and events

Skills contests and events will be held at each golf course on select days during Baltimore Golf Week. The details of these events are currently being determined and will be posted in early Spring 2019.

2019 Mayor's Cup

On June 9, 2019, at the Forest Park Golf Course, the Mayor’s Cup golf outing will be held. All sponsors of Baltimore Golf Week will be provided a foursome to play in the Mayor’s Cup. A select number of foursomes will be made available for non-sponsors.  The foursome with the lowest score will be awarded the Mayor’s Cup.

The schedule for the Mayor’s Cup events:

7:00AM - Player registration, breakfast, and player warm-up
8:30AM - Shotgun start-18-Hole Scramble format
1:00PM - Lunch
2:00PM - Awards Ceremony and check presentation of funds
                 raised during Baltimore Golf Week
