A one-week celebration of golf in Baltimore to raise funds for YouthWorks, Baltimore City's
summer job program providing employment to thousands of youth and young adults.

From May 26th to June 3rd, Baltimore City golf courses will be holding events to celebrate golf and raise funds for YouthWorks. Below are some of the events and a link with Baltimore Golf Week featuring the Mayor's Cup sponsorship opportunities.

Baltimore Golf Week featuring the Mayor’s Cup Events

A million-dollar hole-in-one contest at the Pine Ridge Driving Range.

From May 29th to June 2nd, a 5 foot circle that is approximately 125 yards away from the driving stations will be set up. For a fee of $5 for one shot or $20 for five shots, amateur golfers can attempt to hit a golf ball that stays on the temporary green. All amateur golfers that are able to do this qualify for the finals of the million-dollar hole-in-one contest. On June 3rd, a temporary green and hole that is 165 yards away from the driving stations will be set up. All amateur golfers that qualified for the finals will be able to take one shot at a hole-in-one and the million dollars. This is open to only amateur golfers.

$50,000 Hole-in-one contest at the Forest Park Golf Course

From May 29th to June 1st, a 5 foot circle that is approximately 100 yards away from the driving stations will be set up on one of the Forest Park Short Game Practice Facility greens. For a fee of $5 for one shot or $20 for five shots, amateur golfers can attempt to hit a golf ball that stays on the temporary green. All amateur golfers that are able to do this qualify for the finals of the $50,000 hole-in-one contest. On June 2nd, a hole that is 135 yards away from the driving stations will be set up on one of the Forest Park Short Game Practice Facility greens. All amateur golfers that qualified for the finals will be able to take one shot at a hole-in-one and the $50,000. This is open to only amateur golfers.

Other Events

  • At all golf courses during the week, golfers can enter to win a complimentary foursome at that golf course each time they purchase a greens fee. A drawing will be conducted at each golf course at the end of the week to determine the winner.

  • Skills contests will be held during the week at selected golf courses. The dates, times and locations of these skills contests will be released soon.

  • A FootGolf outing will be held at the Carroll Park Golf Course. The date and time of the FootGolf outing will be released soon.

Mayor's Cup

On June 3rd at the Forest Park Golf Course, the Mayor’s Cup golf outing will be held. All sponsors of Baltimore Golf Week will be provided a foursome to play in the Mayor’s Cup. A select number of foursomes will be made available for purchase by non-sponsors.  The foursome with the lowest score will be awarded the Mayor’s Cup.

The schedule for the Mayor’s Cup events:

7:00AM - Player registration, breakfast, and player warm-up
8:30AM - Shotgun start-18-Hole Scramble format
1:00PM - Lunch
2:00PM - Awards Ceremony and check presentation of funds
                 raised during Baltimore Golf Week
 

Junior Golf Kickoff Reception and Tim Sanders Plaque Dedication

On June 2nd, from 5:00-7:00pm a cocktail party reception will be held at the Forest Park Golf Course Clubhouse to celebrate junior golf in Baltimore and to dedicate the plaque commemorating Tim Sanders. Guests will need to purchase tickets to attend this event.
