2023 Baltimore Putting Championship

The 2023 Baltimore Putting Championship is a multi-day event. Sunday, July 16th and Monday, July 17th are qualifying rounds that will take place at a selected green at each Classic Five Golf Course.

There is no pre-registration for the event. Contestants are invited to show up at any one of the Classic Five Golf Courses on July 16th between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm or on July 17th between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to receive their qualifying start time.

Starting times will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Contestants will be asked to check-in when they arrive at a golf course. At check-in, contestants will complete and sign an entry form, pay the entry fee if they are an adult. Contestants can enter only once at each golf course.

There will be two competitive divisions: adult (18+ years of age) and junior (10-17 years of age). At each course, the golfers with the lowest three scores, plus ties, in each division will qualify for the finals on Wednesday, July 19th, at 6:00pm at the Mount Pleasant Golf Course.

The entry fee for Adults to attempt to qualify is $10.00, which benefits junior golf. There is no entry fee for Junior golfers (10-17 years of age) to attempt to qualify.

Play will be governed by the rules of golf of the United States Golf Association (USGA) except where a local rule is defined. All equipment must fall within the guidelines of the USGA. Balls used by contestants must conform to USGA specifications.

The names of the people who qualified for the finals will be posted on this web site (www.classic5golf.com) in the afternoon on Tuesday, July 18th.
